Spay and Neuter Information

One female dog and its offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in six years. One female cat and its offspring can produce 370,000 kittens in seven years. In the greater Los Angeles area alone, over 400 hundred animals are euthanized every day, there just aren't enough homes. Please be a part of the solution not the problem. Be a responsible pet owner, please spay/neuter your pets. In addition to helping control pet overpopulation, you could be saving your pet's life. Unspayed females are can develop pyometra and spaying your female early can prevent mammory cancer, neutering your male can prevent prostate problems. Attention Residents of Los Angeles City

New spay/neuter laws went into effect November 15, 2000. Licensing fee for a sterlized dog remains at $10 while the licensing fee for an unsterlized dog is now $100. There fine for non-compliance is $500. So PLEASE have your pet spayed/neutered, you'll not only save alot of money in licensing fees but you'll doing your part to help reduce pet overpopulation.
