Arnold's Story
My name is Arnold, I am a 2 year old chocolate male pit bull and am about 60 pounds. I was rescued by a Noah's Bark volunteer on July 4th 1998. They found me laying on the curb near the 405 freeway on ramp in Lawndale. My throat had been slashed and I had been stabbed 8 times and left for dead.

After being hospitalized for one month I am fully recovered. I love people but should be an only pet. I hold no grudges toward anyone... all I need is a home to call my own where I will be safe from harm and loved by all!!
I'd like to also remind folks that we are NOT a bad breed but often we are owned by bad people. To read more about this breed click here.
We are very HAPPY to announce Arnold was adopted in January 8, 2000 by a young couple who read Arnold's story above. They came to our adoption day to meet Arnold in person and fell in love. What truly wonderful way for Arnold and his new family to start off the new millennium!!
